Position Overview: As an M&A Integration and Due Diligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in both the pre-closing due diligence and post-merger integration processes. Leveraging your project management experience and analytical skills, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage due diligence activities, assess acquisition targets, and execute integration strategies to drive value creation. You will be responsible for effectively “owning” the diligence and integration process, from start to finish, working directly with the Head of Corporate Development/M&A and the CEO/President/Execs of Arenas Marketing. Organization and communication skills, as well as a firm grasp on confidentiality, are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all due diligence efforts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to assess potential acquisition targets.
- Conduct thorough analysis of target company operations, financials, and market positioning to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare detailed due diligence reports and presentations for senior management and clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with legal, financial, and technical experts to address due diligence findings and negotiate transaction terms.
- Develop comprehensive integration plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with objectives
- Coordinate integration efforts across functional areas, including finance, operations, & IT
- Provide regular updates and reports on due diligence and integration progress to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in project management, business administration, or integration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with M&A due diligence processes, including financial analysis, legal review, and risk assessment preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
